Nothing major to report, just wanted to show a picture I received tonight of an Omaya port so you all know what will be happening on Friday. This is a picture of an Omaya:
And this is a picture of how the Omaya will be installed in Eli’s head:
Again, this port will allow us to administer drugs to Eli’s brain in case this new spot is indeed Neuroblastoma. If it is, I’ll go into the 8H9 treatment later once we know more about it! For now, we are just waiting for Friday to arrive.
Today we took a visit to Toys R Us and had fun doing the big indoor Ferris Wheel and shopping for Nintendo DS games. Tonight was a Mardis Gras party at the Ronald and we are having a fun time with our authentic New Orleans friends, the Orlandos (http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/anthonyorlando) while they are here for just a few days for scans.
I threw together an Animoto video from pictures of Eli’s birthday parties and thought I’d share it here as well:
Not a major update, just wanted to throw out a few odds and ends. Thanks for checking in!
Oh yeah, I wanted to link up this video as well that was shown during the Westminster Dog Show this year. It is about Angels on a Leash and it shows clips from their visits to the Ronald in NYC. We know most of the kids shown in this video, but it was especially fun to see our Larson twin buddies (cp: ColemanScott), Captain Griffin from Team G-Force and our very own mohawk man, Eli:
