There is a lot I’d like to say about this weekend and the amount of support we received for National Childhood Cancer Awareness Day, but it will have to wait for another post. I really just wanted to update about Eli’s scan on Friday. Actually, for those of you watching Channel 13 at 6pm, you already saw the news. Here is what you missed if you didn’t catch it:

For those of you that don’t have high speed internet or the video link doesn’t work, the results were good! The PET was clear and they weren’t able to find any enlarged lymph node this time around, so it appears that Dr. Cheung’s theory on it being an inflammation from an infection was right on. So as far as we know, unless we hear differently from NYC, we are starting Eli’s GMCSF shots on Wednesday and will be going to NYC for Eli’s 10th round of 3F8 starting 9/21!
