Very quickly. Just got back from the procedure room. Dr. LaQuaglia said that the wound just fell open when he examined it. It’s not healing at all. So, we are going to be going to the OR tonight so he can do another operation and put in some mesh and try to get everything put back together so it will heal. He is also ordering his nutrition (TPN) be ramped up because that will help Eli’s body heal that wound area. The biggest issue in Eli’s mind is that he wasn’t allowed to eat all day and now he’s being told he still can’t eat before tonight’s procedure.
