One week to go

So after this week, we have one more week of 3F8 and then we are heading for home for 3 weeks. Cycle 4 (assuming he is HAMA negative) should start on June 9th. After that, they will do scans and probably a stem cell harvest (remember, the two times we have done stem cell harvests, Eli’s bone marrow was still positive for neuroblastoma) just to have some good healthy stem cells in the bank. THEN the big decision will come as to what 3F8 protocol (again, assuming still HAMA negative) to put Eli on. They might keep him on the 2 week on, 3 weeks off protocol or they might move him to the 1 week 3F8 protocol. It really all depends on his scan results after Cycle 4.
By the way, thank you to everyone who is sending Eli cards and packages. I thought I would share a great idea that someone has developed after getting their package returned to them because we had already left the Ronald McDonald House by the time it arrived. If you send us a card or a package, put our home address as the Return Address. That way, if we have left the Ronald and they do a “return to sender” on it, we’ll get it at home! Both of our addresses can be found in the Contact Info link on the left.

Thanks again for all of your prayers. I haven’t forgotten about the bracelet thing, I’m going to wait until we get home to start the bracelet distribution. I’ll let everyone know then how to make their request and get their bracelets. Thanks for being patient!
