Great Appetite

Eli is up to 16.2kg, so that is really good. His appetite continues to be great. They moved his nutrition down from 24 hrs/day to 16 hrs/day and now he’s at 12 hrs/day, which is the last step before they can just shut it off. They’ll probably keep it running until we are discharged. His liver functions are perfectly fine and they said it would takes months of nutrition before they’d worry about hurting his system. The next step is scans! Bone marrow and CT on 1/28, MIBG injection on 1/31 and MIBG scan on 2/1. Once we know how those turn out, we’ll know if we need another round of chemo or if we can get into 3F8 and radiation. We are SO ready to be done with chemo!

Thanks for your prayers for Lacey’s grandma Betty. She made it through the surgery and they have moved her to a hospice house. Also thanks for praying for the kids in the car accident in Texas. Luke’s funeral was yesterday and his brother and sisters are out of the hospital. We appreciate being able to tap into the powerful prayer network that has surrounded our family for others!
