Today’s lunch was from Kao Sushi, a place that serves great sushi at a really reasonable price (at least at lunch time, probably due to a lot of competition). I had the Spicy Salmon roll, the Philly roll, and the Shrimp Tempura roll today. Last week I had the Spicy Tuna roll, which was also excellent. I highly recommend them all.

Finally, the last piece of good news I can share is that we finally sold our house in Ames! It had been for sale since April and we were starting to worry that we wouldn’t get it sold before winter. However, we had a very excellent team at JDR Group led by Jared Van Cleave (buddy from my dorm days at Iowa State and a fellow Cornerstone Church attendee) working hard on getting a lot of traffic through our house. Shameless plug, if anyone in the Des Moines/Ames/Ankeny area is looking to sell a house, contact Jared, they have a really unique team approach to Real Estate that is very cool.
